A friend of mine and I met up at Bourton On The Water on Sunday morning to do a little photo shoot. He's trying to get back into his hobby and on the basis of what he's sent me so far, he's pretty damn good at it! This is a couple of what he's sent me but he's sorting out the rest and making them high res over the weekend.

Yep, posted about it in another thread a ways back but basically it's a liquid ceramic coating on the whole wheel. The colour is a dark pearlescent grey with a very small amount of blue fleck in the pearlescence. If I'm honest, I think in hindsight I would have gone for a couple of shades lighter with a little more blue in the pearlescence. Maybe if I damage one, I'll get them re-sprayed again. Still love them though, sets of the black pack nicely I think.

£320 + VAT for all four wheels but not sure if that was a standard rate because I've used this guy a number of times for various jobs. They are based in Gloucester and this is their website http://www.ljandjlwhitcher.co.uk/

 

If you were to call, ask for Glenn and say that Neil in the RS3 recommended him. He'll be sure to look after you I'd like to think.

This is the closest I have ........ had just picked the car up from Glenn and it's not the best picture because you have the reflection from the gravel on the wheel but here it is.
