Does sound like a super charger tho the old b7 rs4 sounded very similar was something to do with all the engine chains and they made they same howl as a charger.

Following on from the realisation that a good exhaust note can sell cars with the 8V, the next new model, the R8 V10 Plus, sounded awesome from the factory too (unlike any previous R8). I therefore can't believe they will not make the V6 turbo (yeah, that's what I reckon it'll be) sound brilliant too.

I'm considering hanging on to mine until the end of the year to see if this will be any nearer.

Rumours are the 3.0ltr twin turbo as seen in the new Porsche Panamera with an expected 0-60 in 4. Panamera currently 3.8 with this engine.

Mines had quite a few compliments this week so I'm going to treat it to a wash, book it in for its maintaince detail and see how I feel.

Had chance last weekend for a good full on high speed run which has given me back some love for the car.
