Evening all,

 

Currently at Build Week 7 so hoping to take delivery of my Sepang Blue RS3 early March, however I opted for the standard silver wheels as I'm not a massive fan of the rotors, and intend on changing straight to aftermarket wheels anyway. 

I've managed to narrow down my choices to these three types of wheel, however I'm still uncertain on which, and which colour looks best... So you're input and opinions would be very much appreciated!

 

1 - VMR V709 - Silver

 

2 - VMR V709 - Gunmetal

 

3 - VMR V709 - Black

 

4 - BBS CH-R - Silver

 

5 - BBS CH-R - Gunmetal

 

6 - BBS CH-R - Black

 

7 - VW - Silver

 

8 - VW - Gunmetal

 

9 - VW - Black

 

Any help, suggestions or feedback would be great!

prestige wheel centre fitted a set of CH-Rs to an RS3 today if you want to see what they actually look like.

VMR's are discontinued lads! I emailed them early December and got a reply saying they no longer make them! They were the only wheel i was looking at.

Close second would be OZ Superturismo's. But saying that, the VW ones look great aswell! Remind me of the Speedline Turini's.

Shame the VMR's have been discontinued! These would have been my first choice - in Black (No 3)

Next in line would have to be No 9 VW - Black

I like the VMRs but they are almost identical to the OZ Superturismos and I'd have picked the OZ over VMRs anyway. I keep thinking about getting the OZs for my car but the only thing missing for me is a bit if depth ie there is no concavity to them. Not such a problem for the RS3 as they couldn't be too concave in an 8.5 inch wheel anyway.

Colour/wheel style are both a matter of personal taste - for me it would be the BBS in silver with mirrors to match

I've purchased the VW ones today, and just need to get them finished in my colour choice... Thinking of going for something similar to the shade in #2, just to keep a little more detail in the wheels than if they were purely black... I may change my mind again by the time my car arrives! Currently at build week 7, come forward from week 10!

Yes mocked these up myself, which wheels would you like mocked onto yours? I assume yours is glacier white with the black styling pack?

Love thoses wheels! Would like to get them fitted to mine but dont think i could justify getting them at the moment! Will look great on yours 81llyh!!
