[Obsidian Detailing]

Had update from detailer this morning - has had wheels off & cleaning, protecting everything in wheel arches (suspension struts, brake callipers etc) & has even primed & painted rear brake hubs. Today doing paint correction & refinement and maybe start protection coats at end of today.IMG_9130.jpeg

God i love to see t done properly, wheels off etc. the way a full on new car prep should be

I also went with Gyeon. Had our Mini JCW done by Barry at Autodetox last year and booked in the RS as soon as I had a rough idea of a delivery date. He could only fit me in this weekend just gone but I gave it coat of Wetcoat after collecting it from the dealer (I asked them not to prep it) just to give some protection for the intervening 6 weeks or so.

Here is a quick photo after the detail - a machine polish (I wanted this doing anyway but it was needed to remove a couple of dodgy patches where it had been reworked at the factory) and a MOHs+ coating.

Got Arnie back from Bellissimoto Detailing today and what a brilliant job, the paint is so even and uniform and the protective coating is oh so very s-m-o-o-t-h
