TTE 500, it's a completely new design turbo. The Loba is just the original with hybrid internals.

I'd be going for a 550 though ;)

Is one better than the other though or is it just down to choice and tuner

To be honest I'd go with MRC recommendation. They have a huge reputation and have done a few cars with the tte upgrade. Also bare in mind the revo map will be generic. The MRC map is tweaked to be perfect with the mods. My car with MRC map and an intake and milltek turbo back ran 425ps and 625nm. I haven't even seen a stage 2 revo get close to those numbers.

I would go with tte. Also just so you know the tte turbo is a stock turbo that's been modded same as loba.

One of the guys that had a black RS3 running tte500s got something like 560ps and 710nm with WMI.

Thanks for the information Simon, I think I'm going to go for MRC when I go for the turbo upgrade then tbh.. That's all that's left now tbh! Next week hopefully gonna get it booked in for end of November hopefully.. Stage 3 running TTE turbo, forge intercooler, loba fuel pump.. I don't think I want WMI

This bad boy is getting water injection to enable more boost.....I'm not aware of any other production car that uses it straight out of the factory
I can't wait for my switch that dials it in TBH

Nice one Simon, I didn't know that about the TTE turbo. I was under the impression that it was custom made. Both of them in that case seem very expensive for just updated/hybrid internals?

Tte do an exchange for your original turbo also. Makes it cheaper
