Decided to bite the bullet and I have booked my car in at KDS detailing in Kent for the works ...

Its going to be wet sanded and polished and then treated with some clever stuff that I cant remember !

I cant wait to see the difference as since I had the car he said the paint had "sunk" and that when he is finished its going to look better than

when new,the work that he does is outstanding I had a full tour of the workshop and saw the work first hand..

(This is my Daimler) not the Audi going in by the way !

Roy you will be very happy, what kelly and kons do is extremely high level. The juice is well worth the squeeze if you want the next level finish

Very true mate,

I cant wait to see it done, the work you detailing boys do is outstanding,,,

I thought I kept my RS in " quite good " order but this is way way above what I thought is possible!

Its the work you have done on Josh's car and his recommendation that has made me do it !

My RS is Ibis white and I think the money is much better spent on a darker car as the results are far more clear to see

And as its a classic car I hope it will only appreciate even more by looking the best it can

Forgot how good red cars look detailed, my Mk1 used to come up really glossy.

Car looks outstanding by the way!

Hi Colin, sorry, only just seen these responses. Yeah, he brought that with him. I was impressed that he had a generator and huge water tank on the van - he can do a full detail literally anywhere.

Thanks everyone else for your comments, I'm really pleased with it.  :D

I'm obviously with you on this Roy as my car is Red with the Black pack, when I saw Penelope Pitsops car at Audis in the park 2013 I thought it looked stunning and from then Ive wanted an RS in that colour combo.

It's stunning with the black pack but if I change I'd have to change wheels and mirrors at the same time and I'm still undecided, truth be told I'm not a huge fan of the rotors in black.. What I've seen I love the cat red with the Ally pack. My thinking being if I go with my instinct and stick with ally and Titanium wheels is if I have a change o heart I can enjoy the ally pack for a while then it'd be easy enough to change to black and a nice set of black Ultraleggera and use titanium wheels for winter!

Why spend extra on the titanium wheels Ginge, the standards go well with ally pack?

They use all of their own products Yeoy so couldn't tell you who's it is. I had issues with the ceramic leaving some smears on the paint, but they came back and polished it out and re-coated it - can't complain.
