Hi Folks, 

 

So today I've had David from Aspect Valeting round doing the detail on the RS3. It's been decontaminated, machine polished, hand polished and waxed ready for ceramic coating. David arrived at my house at 9:30AM this morning and left at 6:30 - a long day considering he travelled up from Kent. Unfortunately he didn't get to the ceramic coating until 6PM, he got the roof and rear end done no problems, but the paint became too cold for the ceramic to cure. So he called it a day and is coming back in the morning to finish it. The whole process took longer than I anticipated, but I see that as a good thing, David has a keen eye for detail and wants it to look spot on - hence finishing for today and returning tomorrow in better light and warmer temps. I also didn't realise just how much work is involved, kudos to you pro detailing guys! 

 

So the car is already super shiny, I can't wait for it to be finished tomorrow. Here are a couple of pics to whet your appetite with the rest coming tomorrow on a finished car. Apologies about the last two pics, it was getting a bit dark when I thought to go and take some more pics of the progress.
