All I had before were the pictures from the Audi configurator, it looks so much better than I imagined - you won't be disappointed!

Nice touch by the dealer to bring it inside and cover it up, made me even more excited when I arrived albeit a little embarrassing when everyone in the dealers stopped to watch "the unveiling".
Bearing in mind I hadn't driven one I was a little apprehensive but it has not disappointed - at all! It's smooth and comfy, ride (without mags) isn't bad at all, better than my Mrs A1 S Line which is rock hard but definitely firmer than my old M135i.
It has the standard exhaust, but even with that it sounds AWESOME! It pulls like a train and the interior light package looks the nuts at night.
Only thing I'm a bit disappointed with is that apparently it logs each time you use launch control, guy at the dealer told me "don't use it too much" which is very vague - my friend who's a tech at an Audi dealer said you get five (yes, only 5) launches before they get the hump about it. But I've asked Audi customer services to clarify in writing what they deem as acceptable usage. It's not that I want to launch it every time but there is a big difference between "not too much" and "5" so just want clarification on that. But I tried the launch control just once yesterday and it's a hoot!!!
Overall, absolutely LOVE IT! It's gets lots of looks and admiration.

Looks stunning. Never heard of a limit to Launch controls. I think its true that its logged but sounds like nonsense to how many times you can use it.

I was seriously contemplating a red one but went for blue as I wanted a more Q-Car look. There are not many red cars in Poland at all!
Sepang Blue 8V RS3. Loud Exhaust. Loud Music. Louder Interior. Quiet Exterior.

You did the launch control?!?! The sales chap wouldn't tell me how to do it until I've done six months without killing myself! To be fair, I do have a tendency to drive a little quick...
Hope you're enjoying your new car, I got mine a month ago and I LOVE IT!!!! So much fun

5 times? Sounds interesting, my Brother had an SMG M3 some time ago (10 years past) and BMW had a 3 and out of warranty policy on that if you use the launch control, its not good for the life of the clutch or gearbox. Makes sense really, if you use it too much and the result is a new gearbox things could be very expensive, though Audi UK have promoted LC very little, third parties, especially on social media have, even in the UK. I reckon you might find it hard to make a warranty claim if you use that setting too much, then again Audi might not like the PR backlash from that and have to honour claims.
Will be interesting to see if Audi UK offload the press cars into general sale, or if they get a very good service beforehand.

I received a reply from Audi UK customer services today regarding the use of Launch Control, will post a separate thread.

I can safely say I shall not be using LC.
Car is more than fast enough without it. I may do it once just to experience it - but then that's it ️

You say that now, then you'll think "oh, well I ought to try this just once" then you'll have a grin from ear to ear and be like "I HAVE to do that again (and again)!"
