I'm guessing most that are still in warranty will get Audi to change the s-tronic oil so haven't gone aftermarket yet. That and it seemingly doesn't need changing until 40k miles and on a recent poll not many people are there yet! I've had mine changed twice now but by Audi.

When the time comes, with something as expensive as the S-Tronic ( or engine for that matter) I will stick with the manufacturers recommended fluids.

I had mine changed early by Audi and stuck to genuine oil and I must say it's improved the gear changes no end.
I'd stick to manufactures oil.

I use motul dctf in 3 dsg boxes and they perform well. Specially on the 2.0 tdi leon with 700nm and 360hp. Pleased with it.

You've got 360hp out of a 2.0 TDI? Fair play  :D

As far as oils go, for the most part, as long as it's the right spec, it really doesn't matter who you use, what matters more than anything is that you've changed it properly and at the right intervals.

It's a unique 2.0 CR engine, forged with lots of goodies. We hope to break the 400hp soon. The gearbox would need a better remap to behave better under the stress.
