Does anyone have the "RS3 logo" when they turn on their mmi thing?

It also integrates with Bose / canbus / DIS perfectly.
A guy across from my unit was showing me one he'd bought for his Merc and it does look factory but is way better and faster than the Audi offering.

Done loads of retrofits for my own cars and forum members who've asked.
It's always good to learn new skills.

I've been looking at the Dynavin N6 unit as a upgrade to the crappy RNS-e, they are designed to look OE, I've found out today after speaking to them that I can load whatever start-up / boot screen I want.
It also integrates with Bose / canbus / DIS perfectly.

I looked at Dynavin after you posted something on another thread about them as I still would like DAB and wouldnt mind a slightly more modern looking interface with iPod / iPhone i.e. album art displayed ! But there are a couple of downsides :-
1) Have to run a new Aerial lead for Dynavin satNav into the roof fin ?
2) Dynavin solution for DAB is a screen mounted aerial which does not look that great imho
I had a chat with the people i have trusted with my phone/satnav/audio since 911 back in 2001 and they say could also run a DAB aeriel to the fin but there may not be enough room in the fin so would need a new one !! All just to get DAB and a nicer music interface ? And might have to rip it all out when change the car ??
Mmmmm - might be better off swapping the RS3 for a Golf R that has a silightly more modern head unit and DAB ....
BMW M2 in Mineral Grey
Audi A4 Avant 2.0 TDi Black Edition
Used to have a Condor Grey RS3 8P, and before that a further 47 assorted money pits

The unit uses your existing ariel connection
Can't comment about the Dab as reception round these parts is patchy at best (and I can always use the iPhone for any stations out of fm reach shall we say)
I'm thinking about this because
1) it's almost oem looking
2) the interface / sat nav / telephone is much slicker and better looking
3) I can have whatever startup logo I want
Win win in my eyes.

I think Roy wants someone to put a Nardo Grey logo on his start up screen

Could you live with the 4 pot though ?
For £599 (or less on ebay if you make an offer) you can have a more upto date unit) and get to keep the beautiful 5 pot noise.

You could always stick a picture of the RS 3 logo to the rns-e screen
