Am I being thick or is it not possible to post pictures into a thread once its started

 

If I click on the image icon I get a URL message but no option to upload an image????

I use photobucket and just copy the image code into my thread.

I upload to the site. I am on my iPad,

I chose :

More reply option
Made my post
Choose file ( I picked a library photo from my iPad for this post)
Then clicked attach file.
Once uploaded click add to post and add reply
And you will get this...

Are you using IE11, Robinsky? The editor can be a bit tempremental with this browser.

 

I have no issues in any of the other big browsers though, so try it in Chrome, Firefox or Safari.

Yes Viraje I am using IE11...and as an IT professional I can't work out how to attach a file to an existing thread. I can add files to a new post no problems as the option is shown on the bottom of the screen but .... there's no option to select a file on an existing thread.?????

Will try Chrome now.. no that didn't work either !!!! am sure it's a setting in preferences.... I do have active x and flash player enabled????

The more reply options button and upload works for me on my iPad but no matter what program I download it won't let me upload videos

Ok so it was me being think

 

I have now found the massive more reply options button and hey presto the attach file function is there!!!! Doh!

I'm not sure what version of IP Board we're using here, but there are known issues with the editor, (which is a plugin called CKEditor, and doesn't fully support IE11 in some versions).

 

I use Safari which works fine for me.
