Hi all - the switch on the driver's door for the right rear window won't auto up/down. Let me explain... :-) The other three window switches work as normal - pull up or down and window fully closes/opens. The one for the right rear doesn't do that - although it will operate the window still (you just have to hold up/down until it closes or opens.

Does anyone know of a fix?

Cheers and Happy New Year.

Gary

There is a very simple fix to reset them using the switch itself. Push fully down on switch and hold down for a second after window stops and is fully open. Then pull-up on the switch and hold for a second after the window is fully closed. Normal service should be resumed.

Strangely that's the same fix I've just applied to the wife's Rangie.

It resettled the module/Ecu after the recent frost stuck the window closed.

Thanks P_G. I knew the members here would have the answers. Worked a charm! The RS 3 is slightly more complex than my 1991 944 Turbo! :-)

Cheers, Gary
