Well you could say that about any car !!

BMW 1.8 or M3        (£23k vs £56k)

A3 1.6 DIESEL or RS3    (£19k vs £40k)

Merc 220 d or AMG    (£27k vs £57k)

The starting price difference between an RS6 and a GTR is 25 quid. They are comparable, unlike any of your examples.

But it's interesting that you equate my comparison with such massively differing vehicles. Kind of proves my point I guess.

Like your point about the Sierra ????

I was just saying it was the same as any manufacturer they all used the same dials and interior bits in the basic and top of range cars, and I was not equating them with your comparison at all ,,, so your point is wrong,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, I guess !!!

Let's face it our RS3s are very dated inside and old technology and equipment for a 2011-13 car

The GTR is a stunning looking car on the outside.... But to a certain type of person. Cars suit people like clothes do. What looks and feels right to one person isn't right for another.......I wouldn't have one but I do like them
I'd have an S1 and have it modded to a silly level of poke and style

Is it just me or are the GTR's starting to look dated now?

Without doubt the GTR does have a chav stigma about it,  Never driven one and i know they are supposed to be great when booting it but not so great as a daily added with servicing costs and harsh ride in town.

Nearest i came to looking at one was sitting inside it and thinking it was worse than our old 350Z for being cheap.

You park any RS model up near a GTR and see how many hoodie's and baseball caps flock around the GTR.

I think Viraje hit the nail on the head, What would you rather pull up to a fancy hotel in?

Shame really.

Mmmmm I agree on all points but tbh our RS3s are hardly cutting edga for a 2011-13 car
However I agree totally about the classy hotel impression
But like turning up with classy mrs or trashy totty
Haaaa one gives a good impression but the other is goin be wild times.....
That's where re mapping and bigger turbos etc come in.... Turn the classy mrs into a wildcat lol
How very sexist !!

Roy you got me wrong I do not think the GTR is chavvy at all in fact it's way less chavvy than my 360hp Mk1 Leon Cupra with the loudest dump valve you've ever heard and suspension lower than an MPs integrity which I love driving as much as any car I've ever owned

Glasses are only for seeing close up things not distance so unfortunately I don't have the pleasure of clearly seeing things like phone, speedo, revs and the all important outside temperature and time lol
