And that's only the 2 ltr version not the 2.5 they did as the concept

If they would of made this A1 in RHD I would of brought one of them instead

I'd slow down in the wet happily to own a GTR over an S1.

40k for an A1 is just silly, don't care how fast it is.

It'd not get close to that GTR in the dry!!

I'd rather save my cash and rent the GTR for a day, I could not own a car that looks that chav

How does a GTR  look chav,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, ?

One thing for sure, I know they need servicing a hell of a lot so they can stuff that !

They are feckin awful looking cars and the interiors are cheap looking too, other than the performance, I do not understand why everyone gets a semi everytime they see one, do nowt for me....

Tyres, servicing, extended warranties and parts are more expensive than running a car twice the price!

It might be fast but the interior looks like it came out of the last century ,I think they designed the engine and the exterior first then they ran out of money and gave up.

If I had the funds and budget to run one, I'd give it a home in a flash.

If I had the money there are far more tasteful fast cars Id want, speed is not everything, the RS3 proves that!

Like what ????

You cant knock the GTR is a brilliant car ,the engine is a masterpiece !

I bet you can use the LC  without breaking it , I bet the brakes dont squeak ,it has proven to be a great car by all reports on them.

As Freezy says if I had the budget I'd have one too.............

And I bet its faster than a 1.4 golf too !

Yes the GTR is fast, but in my opinion that is the only thing going for it!

It is not a cool car at all, it's an engineering project that just showcases what Nissan can do, but it's a Nissan!

And yes thanks for stating the obvious, it is faster than the wife's golf....

I take 'reports' with a pinch of salt and make my own mind up ;)

If you take reports on cars as gospel then maybe you shouldn't have bought the RS3 Roy ;) it got slated

I agree with some of what your saying but I cant see how you think the GTR is a "chav" car ?

For one you dont see many of them at all, well not round here anyway .. and with all its computers and high tech stuff stunning engine and whatnot its almost a "supercar" and they too can be "modded" and they then are Well over 600 bhp,,,,,,,,,

Its only the servicing costs that are just plain mental,,,, some models need servicing every 6 months or 6000 miles! Sod that for a laugh!

I do  agree the inside is a bit crappy....  but all in all its still a great car.

I think the issue is that it has no class. Like most top end Japanese cars, it's just a loud, faster, stronger and shinier version of the base model. But it is very clearly a version of the base model, in the same way that an RS500 Cosworth Sierra had all the same dash, switch gear and interior as a 1.6L.

Faster? Definitely. Better? Perhaps. Chav. Absolutely.

Put it this way, would you rather pull up outside a Monaco nightclub in an RS6 or a GTR?

Well you could say that about any car !!

BMW 1.8 or M3

A3 1.6 DIESEL or RS3

Merc 220 d or AMG   and so on and so on................

I would not mind turning up in either as neither of them are "Chav" but my first choice would be the RS6 without doubt as I drove one a few weeks back its was the best car I have ever driven  ,,, never driven a GTR so cant really comment can I !

Toby you would know all about make up bags and stuff so I'll take your word on that one
