Lads,

I have been reading a lot about how good this stuff is (magifoam apparently it stays on the car for nearly 30 mins !!!!) I have sent an email to the supplier if they would do a group buy.

they do all sorts of colours and smells,,,, yellow = banana . purple = lavender etc and everyone is raving about it elsewhere.............

Anyone interested ???

I wouldn't use it on my car  this is what it says on their website Due to the nature of the product please wear suitable gloves when diluting this product. If you do get it on your hands - it will wash off.

Ensure the ground is fully rinsed when you rinse the car to prevent light staining.

Ive used quite a few supposedly PH neutral foams and theyve stripped polish off completely each weekly wash.

I've now settled for Valet Pro's Snow foam which is very good.

£12.95 a litre or £29.95 for 5 litres.

If the above mentioned strips wax and anyone wants a group buy organised i could ask my supplier.

Well f that stufff then!

I found the megs that i use is good and you only need a very small amount for good thick foam, but it seems to strip the wax i put on..

even though it says it does not ????

Ill be up for some steve.

And again the things you learn on this forum is great

+ 1 for the Valet Pro ph neutral ,I also use Bilt Hamber Auto Foam and quite happy using either. After all the hard work you put in waxing/sealing the car last thing you want is to strip it all off in a matter of minutes.

Valet Pro is decent, I had some thrown in with my new snow foam lance but TBH using my G-wash in the bottle works just as well, thick foam and gets rid of insects and most of the dirt

PG's used both, Which did you thinks best ?

Sounds like Gwash may be a little better.

If people wanted Gtechniq GWash I can ask if a GB were available through DDB and their retail arm Debonair for Gallon tubs. Gwash is a shampoo but it does what the snow foams do (well it does for me anyway!)

I would be interested in G-Wash group buy.

I've recently changed over G-Wash to compliment the extensive Gtechniq detail my car came with.

I couldn't be happier with the finish of C1 and Exo v2 combo. It's a slick almost water repelling product and practically washes itself in a good downpour.

Dirt and dust just does not stick to it anymore.

I have a simple Karcher foam attachment, but haven't tried it with G-Wash yet.

Im slowly trying different Gtechniq products as I need to replace them.

You can use any shampoo in a foam lance, it's just some work better than others, or are designed to produce more snow foam.

I was fortunate the C1 and Exo v2 had already been applied, but I wouldn't hesitate to get my detailer to do it on future cars, or top this one up when required.

If funds allow I try and get my cars done once a year to help with upkeep.

A friend works with Dooka. www.dooka.co.uk

I highly recommend their wash mitts and drying towels if you enjoy cleaning your cars.

I've tried many over the years, and thought the Meguiars items were good, but they are demoted to wheels now !

Loving the car Roy.
Best decision I've made. While the S3 was no slouch, the RS is in a different league and
where I've wanted to be for a while.

I was disappointed in the dreadful weather at AITP otherwise would have been there on the stand for sure, especially having made it to the hotel, in biblical storms.

Toby you may have seen me turn up early, suss out the hotel, and then pop and get some fuel from the Shell garage up the road?

I came back and walked in with Roy & Styxz , speaking to you, Chris and a couple of others who's names escape me, (sorry!) on the sofa in the reception foyer, before deciding to bail based on Facebook photos from the Audi stand, and the dreadful weather reports.

I also met RS3_Will, who was running a bit late, and had missed the convoy, sending him in your direction.
