Has anyone taken their RS3 to the Ring yet? Or do we deny the existance of such a place?

 

What not timed time did you do and how did the car perform?

Haven't been there in the RS3 but did do in the RS4. Best time or 10 laps was a 8:57 after my first time there. Not sure I would go back though unless on an organised closed session, too many wanabee Loeb's and Rohrl's on there and its not your own driving you have to be worried about, it is other peoples.

I was going to take the RS3 across for just a couple of laps to day i'd driven it however i'm increasingly put off for reasons above.

 

There are more and more stories of people being shunted off the track by those treating it like a balls out timed track session with no regard for whatever else is around the next corner. 

 

I'm sure i'll have a lap next year on the way over to the Worthersee show.

The Nurburgring has never been very high up my list, but I have always wanted to do the Stelvio pass or some of the other epic Top Gear European road trip roads in something suitably fast and noisy.
