Hi All,

Looking at buying the above, can someone please tell me the correct fitment/size, so that I can run my current 235/35 (all round) tyres on.

I don't want to go bigger than 19".

Also what ET would I choose?

Hope that all makes sense lol.

Look forward to your replies.

Thanks!

Mal

Stuck with ET 48 8.0J which is narrower than standard with a 5x112 bolt pattern...so get a 10mm spacer to fill the arches

Thanks for the reply mate.

When you say narrower than standard do you mean narrower than the Audi Rotors mate?

Why do a lot of website advise 8.5" fitment? Would these even fit on the rears?

Thanks again.

Ahh quality, that makes full sense now, appreciated!

So ideally the best set up is the one you mentioned initially & to run 10mm spacers, would these be all round?

Sorry for all the questions, just want to make sure, everything will fit without problems lol!

Be very careful Mal theres not a lot of room under the rear arches with 235 tyres on the stock 8j wheels . The last thing you want to do is spend all of that hard earned cash on the wrong size wheels.

I'm running 235's on the stock wheels at the min and it's also lowered on coils, there is slight rubbing on the back however I've just ordered some new wheels which are 8.5" and with the 235's I should regain that little bit of stretch that you got from stock which will hopefully stop the rubbing.

If not I'll just raise the car a bit, or stiffen up the rear damping.

Hmm, I'm still really undecided about this, has anyone fitted these wheels on here with 235/35 all round?

Cheers for that Roy mate.

Thats my current set up too.

Just tryna find out the best sizing etc for these BBS wheels beacuse I'm getting varying information from different people, so just trying to find a definitive answer lol.

Are you getting a map done whilst you are there ? or just aimlessly walking around Lakeside?

No not getting the map done just yet - gotta weigh up the pro's & con's with warranty etc. I'll be going for a APR map when i do tho (apparently AmD do these aswell according to the APR website?)

Currently falling half asleep upstairs in the waiting room lol. Shouldn't be too long tbh, was one of the first ones in, weather was crap on the way up, a lot of traffic too. Hopefully it isn't as bad on the way back so can have a bit of fun...

If it was me i would be looking at a wheel that you could have 8.5j on the front and 8j on the back that way you could fit the 255 option tyres on the front and that way you know you're not going to get problems.

For reference in winter I run Sportec Mono 10's which are 8.5Jx19 and were ET42 but had the centres re-profiled so they are ET45 to eliminate rubbing on the rear arches. They are shod with 235/35 Conti TS830P's and with the 034 ARB there is no rubbing at the rear unless the whole rear is under severe compression.

So you could go 8.5Jx19 max ET45 but ideally ET50

CheeRS for the reply

I'm looking at 8.5J 19" ET48 all round.

Are you running 8.5J on the rear?
