Hi Aaron, haha it’s nothing major, black out a few of the silver bits for a start, 10mm wheel spacers and possibly re map and cat delete, oh and slight tint to front windows, think that will totally change the look of the car. Cheers.

Welcome. Like you I moved to an RS3 from a Golf R.

How would you compare them?

Hi, totally different experience, the golf R is an absolute great car for the price, great power handles great, the RS3 is everything the golf is but turned up a few notches, and the sound, you cant compare that, the RS3 wins hands down on that

The RS3 is obviously a step up in terms of power, quality (and definitely costs!). However I would say you get more of a feel for the road with the R, perhaps because it's a bit lighter?

I thought originally the RS3 would be heavier and less responsive compared to the golf, but everything about the RS3 is more responsive, i was totally shocked and drove both back to back.
