Has anyone experienced misfire issues following stage 2? On one hand I have Audi saying the ecu needs a software update as nothing wrong with plugs and coils and I have a tuner saying it needs new injectors and it’s reasonably common for these to fail following a map. Just wondering if anyone has been here before???
Many thanks in advance for any comments

Nick.
What model RS do you have ?
8Ps do have injector failures which are superseded by the 8v one's,also there are ecu updates if you have 0040/0050 ecu software.
On the PFL they have a fuel pump module recall due to cutting with control volage issues.

2016 8V
It’s had the fuel pump recall work done last year I think.
Audi are saying it’s due the ecu software but have said it’s likely to wipe the map / fry the ecu with map in place so have suggested removing map and setting back to standard 1st

The ecu update will wipe out any 3rd party mapping & as for frying the ecu there just covering there back.
If it does need an update your better going with Audis recommendions to be on the safe side tbh.

MRCWhose the tuner? It’s not Litchfield is it?
Sorted full set of injectors & new oil.
Being new to the tuning game I cant fault MRC after sales customer service they even recommended a tuner thats 20 miles from my house rather than having to transport the car 136 miles to them.
A big Thankyou to Doug, Sarah and Ben

Both MRC and Awesome have the best reputation for these engines. Glad it’s all sorted out now
