OEM exhaust upgrade

Hi  ;)

I want to little upgrade of my oem exhaust. Now is full decated a i want little more noise  :D .

If I remove this mufflers, would be a different in the sound or not?

Yup that would definitely be louder. More or less the equivalent of buying a non resonated aftermarket cat back box
Audi RS3 8P 2011: Phantom Black, Retrofit genuine Audi black grille. Mods: Milltek Decat pipes, Bilstein B16 Coilovers with 034 Motorsport top mounts. any idea of how louder does it get? mine's also decated and want it to be louder too, but not extremely loud with a lot of drone

How much different in noise & is there any drone at steadily speed on motorways ?

That's one way to get rid of the resonators. PCW open them up, take out the wire wool and strap a bit of tin around the holes in the exhaust.  All looks completely normal from the underside.

I think no extreme but decent louder mainly from the outdoors, Inside without S mode is only little change. I haven´t tried how much noisy is in motorways speed yet. I will try to this week.

I thought the wielded in extra pipes and all sorts?

He did - opened up the backbox and puts a pipe through it with spot welds (rather than a sealed weld).

 

Supposed to make it quieter in Comfort (don't use it so wouldn't know) and louder with the valves open.  He also did the rez delete.
