Wondered if anyone e has any feedback or opinions on the software?
All the research I've done I can't find a bad word about them, I just find that running Apr stage 1 that because the torque has increased that the gearbox can get confused especially in lower gears.
I should add this is a pfl.

Obviously only had it done today so no long term review. Is it much different from standard ?
Where it would slip away from some junctions in 2nd gear this no longer happens it selects 1st gear everytime and quickly aswell.
My other issue was since mapped if I pulled away briskly in D it would quickly go 1st 2nd 3rd not allowing much rpm in 2nd gear. Now I can take the revs as high as I like in 2nd which is a huge improvement, also overall gear choice is better suited.
Gear changes are super smooth and much faster in auto and manual.
I'll update better once I've done a few miles in my every day environment.

Seen your car pop up on Ecotune’s page yesterday. I’m seriously considering getting this. The one thing that lets the car down is the way the gearbox behaves.

change at 2mph it now changes up at 7 mph. This may not sound a big deal but it transforms town driving. It doesn`t
now slip the clutch in 2nd gear at very low speeds. Also it now changes down to 1st at very low speeds . It does this
so smoothly that I didn`t realize it was going into 1st until I looked at the dash. "S" mode now doesn`t change down
too soon thereby keeping revs to a sensible rpm. Likewise "D" doesn`t change up too soon dropping revs too low. Lastly
in manual mode it wouldn`t change into 2nd below 11 mph.Now it will change at 6 mph.
Small alterations but massive improvement. Audi should have made them like this from the outset.

As I drive 99% of the time in manual D mode I find the gearbox a lot better.
Just a quick one, do you still get that slight clonk from 1st to 2nd in manual mode? No matter how much I try to change down with speed or braking smoothness it seems to happen. Not a big deal as it’s been doing it now for the best part of 25k
Drove a mates 2012 dsg golf R and the box on this car is unbelievably smooth in manual mode.

So you’ve had the engine remapped too then ?No clunk now 1st to 2nd. As you I drive 99% manual mode.

TVS own site says Vanmatic in Hayes / STA in Aylesbury but their sites don’t mention TVS?
Peron seems to offer it but they’re in Sheffield!

Poor you - I grew up around Aylesbury. What a toilet.
I’m marlow so far enough away not to be too close

Fair enough - Marlow is really nice. Some fine ladies wandering the streets on a sunny day. Nearly got took out on that narrow bridge though last year by some yummy mummy in a massive Volvo / M1A1 Abrams crossover.
My point stands unchallenged though - Aylesbury is an open sewer.
