Done a few projects then sell up. RS3 only just out of the box last week but needs some tweaks.

Plan will be max on stock engine prob around 650bhp then see where i get to. Will limit torque to save rods.

tte700 turbo
Stock injectors
Big intercooler. Not decided which one yet
Downpipe and centre section. Not decided which one
Forge turbo inlet pipe
Custom induction of some sort around 4" then reduct down the forge inlet pipe
WMI. Maybe? I hate things you need to fill up and could run out when you need it most
Stock wheels painted black
MPS4s. I hate P zero, sooo much noise

Suspension is way to hard for me so will try these MSS springs. They get a good rep
Deffo needs spacers Went a bit tame due to lowering springs. 8mm & 11mm incase of rubbing

This new daft GPF will be a pest. No issue for 3 years i guess. MOTs in th efuture will be interesting. Might just gut them

Keep me posted, planning a very similar build. Nothing seems to be available yet for these cars with the new filters

Yeah I seen that. they must really strangle the flow. Plan is to put on 4" downpipe removing cat and GPF then put it back on for MOT if I keep it 3 years.

I wonder if they can test the GPF or is it a case of as long as it looks like its there thats enough. I could fit a removable cat for MOT. 3 years is a while away I am sure more options will come to light before then

GPF is deffo killing torque. Flow top end has not changed.

Stage 1 no GPF

450bhp @ 6500

440bhp @ 7000

Stage 1 none GPF dies after 6000rpm the GPF car keep climbing to 6600.

the Stage 1 GPF car is the very same top end

torque is way down 680nm vs 600nm. They need to go

Can be with a custom map at MRC (Fivepotfan & Steve did this).

Always worth fitting the Intercooler / bigger inlet pipe and air filter to get the best out of it though.

With the right parts and mapping the car will run a bit more than that now. Last MRC dyno session saw just under 550ps with 300ml of octane booster added. The car also ran 560ps recently but that was on the SRR dyno. I have deliberately asked for torque to be pegged at around 750nm as there have been a few DAZA engines surfacing with bent rods lately. These do seem mostly to be cars that are running hybrid turbo's at over 700ps and around 800nm torque. Just too much for the stock internals.

Edit: Dont know what happening with the uploaded photos - nothing seems to work properly lately.

550 / 560 on stock turbo is very good. Like you I will limit my torque, not looked into what limit but 750nm seems a good starting point.

Yeah posting pics seems very easy or more or less impossible.

I was going to start with stage 1 but seeing MRC's results not sure I will bother. Might just fit all the parts and go straight to Stage 2

Following this, as I am stuck with GPF too. Just want it gone and put it back for MOT if needed. Any new info regarding stage2 tunes for DNWA engine?
