I, for one, won't be tempted to brave CC again. 50% of all trackday accidents happen there said the briefing - well, I can quite believe it.

No run off, no room - no insurance - no thanks.

The way that arse end stepped out thought you where driving a M3 for a second haha

If it was an M3 I would have been in the wall mate.  The RS3 is front biased anyway and the Haldex system would make sure that 100% was in the front when the 2 rears were on the green stuff.

Thinking back on it, it was relatively under control - I was mainly worried about Grey Dave stacking me straight into the B pillar on the recovery.

My professional driver instinct kicked in bud - you was safe as houses  :m0168:

I only found out a couple of weeks ago Audi driver wasn't happening from Volkswizard, gutted really as it was my first time and was looking for to it again. I'm lacking ideas but what ever happens ill do my damnedest to make sure i am there!

What do we think about PGD at Castle Coombe on 13th July? I'm concerned it won't be a very big one for us due to it being school holidays? Also, there would be a lot for us to sort out in a very short space of time so we would need payment for tickets within about 2 weeks!

It is a short space of time your right, plus i would need to get my arse into gear and actually get the car out the garage and get it serviced - rather sharpish lol

RS3-fest will happen.

Unfortunately it’s too short notice to properly organise it at the Castle Combe event next month and we couldn’t have dedicated track time either.

Still looking at options so please keep suggestions coming.

Having missed last year due to family bereavement I was so looking forwards to a meet this year - I even had yellow stuff pads fitted and these are now worn out in 6 months of anticipation!

Any meet up of our RS3 breed old and new anticipated?

The oldest press car OY11HVM from previous threads is running good and strong as one would expect from an Audi!

Roy - waiting for the banter to follow!

Agree AITP is no good, it’s a boring day.. I’m going but just because there aren’t many shows I’ve been able to attend this year. Half hour walk around the cars twice and that’s it, just an excuse to chill out and have a nice drive.
