Bedford Autodrome is a great circuit and fairly centrally located. Millbrook Proving ground much the same.
Im ok with that
would like to drive an Atom round there if they do the car experience there
Or a track day at Brands,,, a GP circuit with bags of history there

A 1 1/2 hour travel tine from either of those covers most of England tbf. No excuse not to rock up!

I, for one, won't be tempted to brave CC again. 50% of all trackday accidents happen there said the briefing - well, I can quite believe it.
