Hi everyone,

Just got myself a Sepang Blue 8V with a few nice options on just over a month ago, absolutely love the noise of it!

Currently debating the secondary cat delete, waiting to catch up with a lad near by who has his done.

Just purchased some FL rear lights which I’m awaiting delivery of - do these need to be used in conjunction with the aftermarket adapters I’ve seen? Or can they be wired / coded in?

Cheers!

Welcome along.

Nice colour RS

Rear clusters can be used with adaptors that are readily available online.

They can be Wired/coded in but you would need to travel to see Alex at VagCarCoding for that.

Seems daft they need to be coded in, you’d think they could just be wired in. Got them for a steal at £250!

Come the new year I’ll be giving it a 2 stage polish and coat of CQuartz, did this to an S4 I had a couple of years ago and it was epic.

The proper way is wiring and some coding.

The adapters are an easy way to do it also.

Someone had them on eBay for £300.. I offered them £250 and hey presto! haha. They're not brand new but from the pictures they look spot on.

Nice! I'm not entirely sure, thinking about the secondary cat delete but I'm not entirely sure.. I've still got a years warranty with Audi too.

Pfl sports exhaust still has the secondary cats in place.
Only facelift cars with sports exhaust has no secondary cats.

Ageed - having had my exhaust on the bench with Paul at PCW Exhausts today what I thought were the secondary cats are resonators (at least they used to be until this afternoon!).
