Seems my cars going in to Audi for some pretty major work on the gearbox. This got me thinking, after all the detailing I’d hate for the valeters to ruin all the hard work and pristine paint. So, have the owners of this group considered designing and selling RSOC DO NOT WASH hangers to hang on the rear view mirror?

I just made my own on an A4 paper and then laminated it and placed it on the dash when it use to go to Audi at the beginning. That doesn’t happen anymore so need to worry about it.

The only problem I see here is that you are relying on the fact that Audi "techs" can actually read.

Catalunya Red ,Heated rear window,Power steering,Wireless (with FM),Seat belts,Servo assisted brakes.Pneumatic tyres. Disc brakes.

I think there was a good one from the detailing world forum which you could print off, I had it on my old RS3 and believe it or not they did read it and didn't wash it inside and out!

EDIT:  Here it is, not sure how long the upload will stay live for.

Cheers for the replies guys. I’ve seen a few about, eBay, amazon etc. I just though it would be a good bit of merchandise for the club. I’m sure there’s others out there who would like to support the club while getting something useful.

I used to tell Audi not to wash mine + had a laminated sign in the car too. They still washed it at least once!

Mine got washed once (at an indie - the original service got cancelled as the oil hadn't arrived and the 'Do not wash' instruction didn't get carried over).  Needed a full correction down the sides - mild swirls only tbf.

Annoying as I wouldn't even let Audi touch the paint on delivery.
