2019 OPF saloon stage 2

Decided I want more sound and performance from my OPF car, so been collecting mods ready for fitting in the new year. Still not decided what I am doing suspension wise and whether to stick with the sports exhaust or go aftermarket.

 

first up is the STM decat to get rid of the OPFs and cat

Various chassis bits including ECE dogbone mount, 034 subframe bolts, verkline subframe inserts and H&R rear arb

Better to make waves and be remembered John than to fade into the background.  I got fed up of the ASN sandpit and f*cked off.

 

Can't say I have regretted it.

I was away to buy the 034 rear subframe inserts till I seen this post Rooferman. Looks like I’ll be buying Verkline ones now.

May aswell buy the verkline subframe... which says dont need the dogbone inserts or locking collar kit an all....

So decided to go for an IE intake instead of fitting the APR, APR intake is for sale if anyone is interested. Also ordered a 034 turbo heat shield and super pro end links, deciding whether to go for an aftermarket exhaust such as s resonated Miltek

I am wondering, did you get any info from Unitronic when would they be releasing DNWA tunes? I've been talking to John and never getting through more than 'We have calibrations in beta', then he doesn't respond anymore. Been like that for months now, so I have no idea..

Nah got nothing further from them, APR said stage 2 would be spring next year. Hence I just went syvecs and do my own thing

So the project has had some project creep  :lol:

 

Most likely going for an SRM GTX hybrid

Custom inlet pipe from Dave Henderson

SRM throttle inlet

SRM 1000cc injectors

Syvecs flex fuel sensor

IE intake instead of the APR

TTU DSG catch can

034 heatshield

NGK R7437-9 plugs

uprated propshaft bolts

turbosmart plumb back DV

EMD lowering springs

Maybe a cast inlet manifold from RPC

I've gotten mine tuned to stage 2, making 505hp and 671nm right now. Quite less than expected. We'll keep on working on it though.

That's not a bad result, its about the same as my 2018 FL car before having the larger turbo inlet and downpipe fitted. Good quality fuel makes a good difference to these engines too. What hardware do you have fitted for the stage 2?


now driving a 'Daytona Lite' FL car.
