so having owned the car now for just over a month, I’m bored of stage 2 and the wastegate chatter is leaving the car parked more then driven.
My plan was to always go big turbo. The last time I went big turbo was on my seat Leon 2004 finishing up at 444 Bhp on a gt28 turbo.
Would appreciate your guys options on where to go for the turbo kit.
I’m really really swaying on to purchasing the xona 850 kit from iroz but anyone else’s choices would be appreciated.

I think Malaka did the iroz turbo too - another mental car. These guys left the supercharged E85 Alex Choi Hurrican for dead.
Just get ready for the expense of the clutches.

I would probably stick with the custom code if you are fitting the irox kit. MRC are a different offer I would have thought?

Storm developments have supplied and work alongside the German brand RPC whose work look fantastic. They’ve tuned the car and also supply several different turbo setup kits depending on your needs/wants.
Something else to consider; if Doug at MRC is using a competitor storm/RPC kit on his Mrs 8V then surely that says something about it, right?

Another shout here to go and speak to Andy @ Storm Developments in Aldermaston (Just outside Reading). They are without a doubt making serious waves (without shouting about it) in the 2.5 game. I've been using them for years and trust them fully with all my cars.
Their own TTRS is something out of this world. I also know that my old 8P has gone big turbo and is currently enjoying it's running in period before hitting the dyno and other events.
They use Syvecs ECU's too which seem to be the daddies when it comes to full on custom mapping.
If you're 100% serious about going big turbo and creating an absolute monster, you really should speak to Andy. Tell him Paul Bentley sent you ;-)

Developments especially if Doug is running it, will give them a call today.
Will also give jbs custom code a call as they have done software for iroz and also sell iroz products.

I dunno mate but watched a YouTube video for living life fast and they were putting RS3 engine and running gear in a golf r or something and the owner basically said they do all the donkey work then it will go to mrc for mapping.
They just seem like good mechanics
