As you do, trawling through cars for sale ad’s and visited one of my favourite proper car dealers I found one of my old cars up for sale.... uncanny!

http://www.williamsa...0?frch=williams

Was quite wierd seeing it for sale again from where I bought and eventually sold again after my 18 months of ownership..... I even had a tear in my eye, and consciously did the calculations on a PX but, .....having my super practical hyper hatch just outweighs it.....but to drive, makes anything feel like a poor excuse for ‘sports car handling’.

Most annoying thing is though this car is now £8000 MORE than when I bought it 3 years ago, it has only 2000 more miles since I sold it.....should have kept it and got a 2 bedroom house instead!

Ah well....was nice to see it...... I might arrange a test drive 😍

Never been in an Exige, but an old friend had an Elise Mk1 with 118bhp which I had a drive of. Fabulous little car...Just can't justify buying one as a toy, as much as I would like to...

I love the Exige OMR. I test drove one and the only thing I didn’t get on with was limited pedal space for my big feet.

A little beauty that, good stuff OMR. Glad to see it's been kept in a good condition. It's always nice to know your old pride and joy is still out there kickin'

I saw my old A5 the other day whilst out & about around South Mimms roundabout. Pulled up a set of lights in front and I was absolutely gobsmacked. Never thought I'd see it again and there it is, driving the same roads I drove 40k miles in to and from work, no where near the dealership it was left at.

My old cars usually turn up on forums with knackered gear boxes and engines 🤣

Oh.....forgot to mention, the brakes used to squeal occasionally at low speed but was always told, honestly, by the sales guy even before I test drove it.... they all do that sir, high performance AP big brake kits ......it’s engineered in

Maybe that’s why I’m not too adverse to mine doing it occasionally.....

Worse when you see them and they are wrecked!
