Well I downloaded Tapatalk and I don't get how to find a thread, so when added the same title instead of searching I obviously started a new one with the same name. Not only that I managed to add the picture sideways somehow. I will get this right at some point.

I can't swear on the forum but even after adding from Tapatalk I can't see it due to some rubbish about I have no permission to view the pictures. How does that work when I use the app?

Firstly sorry I have not been on for a while. Life has been a bit on the busy side with business expansions and family stuff.

Well I am now 13 months into owing an RS3 and I have had my first dealer service. So here is my impressions and work done so far:

Mods - OZ forged wheels & mich tyres, adjustable height springs, valve delete mods, G technic ceramic coatings & vulnerable bits clear wrapped. New intercooler and tune coming soon.

Miles - 7500 miles done and an average fuel consumption of just over 28. I have not reset the trip so this is accurate for the full mileage. Also the best fuel economy I have had on a 30 miles return trip (motorway restricted 50mph) is 41mpg. I did the same route in my Scirocco R and got 35, with an average over 5000 miles of 25. I was surprised to see with the same style of driving the RS3 is better. I have to say I only every put my foot down when the oil temp is up to 80+ and most of the time traffic stops me driving it like I have stole it.

Brakes - Spot on and I never get any of the dreaded squealing.

Handling - Love the handling and I don't see any issues with under steer, although I don't track it ever. The ride is also very comfortable, especially I usually forget to take it out of Dynamic due to the start up procedure.

Steering wheel - The alcantara still looks like new, although I am mindful to never drive with dirty hands.

Super sport seats - They are comfy but not as sporty as my previous Recaro R seats.

Wheels - I love my OZ rims and so far there is not even a tiny mark on them, being super careful after kerbing one of my R wheels. My original wheels and tyres are wrapped in cling film and stored away.

Exhaust - Since doing the valve delete the exhaust sounds much better and unless I am mad it seems to have got louder when on boost over the year. I would like to get one of my welder mates to tig a custom back box with better airflow and larger bore going to the tail pipes.

Servicing - Well I paid the extortionate £300 for the Audi min service which is outrageous. Luckily I can get my oil changed for free through work so it has had a change at 800, 1500, 3400 and 7150. I intend to get the DSG oil changed I the Summer.

Sumary - Great car, great drive (especially launch), amazing fuel consumption for what it is and that great 5 pot sound. More than pleased I moved over and did not go for an M2.
