hi all

 

just got car back from Audi and they said there is a possible oil leak coming fro the turbo, anyone had this before, the car still drives normal and quick and there is no smoke coming from the exhaust so im hoping it not anything serious, anyone had or heard about something like this before please let me know

When my Golf Came back from having a TTE420 fitted the oil feed pipe was leaking very slightly awkward to get to but after getting it tightened seem to cure the leak ok Is yours New or Recon as someone did mention that they had heard of a Hairline crack in very rare cases when getting mine sorted.

Surprised you'd take your car to Audi with the level of mods?
As mentioned check the feed pipe/connections

Did you leave it with Audi slammed? surprised they’d know how to lift it up.

I’m hoping it’s just a feed pipe, I’m taking the car back to MRC tuning next week to see what they say,

Lol I forgot I left it slammed, they rang me and asked me how to raise it up

Didn't Audi offer to investigated the oil leak ?

Your turbo is no different than a standard K4 on the outside.

Audi garage I went too wouldn’t touch it because it not a standard turbo
