To cut a long story short my RS3 MK1 (8P 61 Plate) has come back from repair at Swansway Crewe.

It has had a new rear bumper fitted.

It appears that they have damaged the wheel arch liners on both sides to get access to the bumper mounting bolts , instead of fitting new liners.

They are claiming that the `hole` in the liner is supposed to be there but to me it doesn't look like it should be as it looks like it has been `cut` to get access.

By the way you can see that the mounting bolt is missing infact it was never fitted.

Sorry the location is a little unclear in the photo , it is above the top of the wheel , where the bumper joins with the main body.

Can anyone please confirm if there is a hole in the liner? and also what is the correct part number?

Many thanks.

Why couldn't they just remove the wheels, drop the tub liners remove the bumper, refit in reverse order ?

Lazy Fu*ks i think  :(
