So I come to the conclusion that i hate when the car shuts off by itself. Especially as I'm living in Sweden and it's cold 11,5 months of the year 

 

Anyone know if there is a way of turning this system of on the FL using vcds?

I don’t know how, but there is a way of setting the button to basically be revered so when you push the button it turns on stop/start and the system defaults to off when you start the car.

It used to be a VCDS tweak however I think things may have changed on the FL car

I tried the tweak on my FL Golf R and it didn’t work.

I’m gonna plug in later today and see what’s what

Will report back.

If it’s not achievable then I can get hold of a module from Alex which disables it but requires some wiring in.

Could this work?

Voltage mod to disable SS:
1. Module 19 (Can Gateway)
2. Adaption (10)
3. Go to channel: Start_stop_voltage_limit
4. Change value to 12.1V ( default is 7.6V)

You have to ask the installer to enable it.
