Hello ! Popped into the local tyre dealer for a quote in some MPSS and they are not showing as available to buy anymore ?
They gave me a price for MPS 4 S tyres which are a lot more expensive

Does anyone have any feedback on these tyres or know of a alternative that fits the 8p
Other than contact sport 5 which I have on at the moment

I have 4S aswell. Love them. Some people have had traction control light flickering with them but i never have personally, although my tc is always in sport or off. :)

Both of our RS 3's have MPSS fitted - fantastic tyre choice. I believe the the MPS 4 is even better.

Although I do get occasional traction control flight flicker on my 8V but not on the 8P This is usually after the the tyres have cooled down a bit.
I just think the traction control on the 8V is a bit over sensitive

Michelins are worthy of the premium.. haven't experienced the PS4 but run MPSS on mine currently.
That being said Goodyear Eagle F1 Asy3 are a very good alternative and used by many with no complaints.
The conti sport contact 6 also seen to get very good reviews but yet to see any actual feedback from other RS3 owners as yet

I have the latest Pirelli P Zero compound which came out late last year. I think they are great. They also look incredible too with the huge rim protectors giving a pseudo stretched look, whilst at the same time saving my alloys a few times.

Plus the latest version of the 255 size has the sound reducing foam which really does work. I remember the difference going from my old version Pirelli's last year and the difference in noise was huge. In the June Evo tyre test they came second place which for me is not a bad compromise for OEM spec, great looks, and performance.

The Super Sport were superseded by the PS4 last year. They seem to be getting great reviews all round.

Thats interesting to know as i'm looking at tyres that'll potentially give me a little more arch clearance.. post up a pic if you could?

The conti SC 5 gave a similar look but was a poor tyre so i'm interested to know if the SC 6 is a similar profile whilst appearing to be a much better performer

I´m gonna try the Contis SC 6. The Michelins PS4 S are too expensive and I think the diference in the daily drive must not be very noticiable.

The conti sp5 were good to start with but now there wearing I’m getting traction lights come on and there quite noisy, the pzero I had for a while were good no problems apart from they changed to the ro2 and the extra lip curb protection doesn’t really suit the 8p it’s made for the 8v rims, I’m going for a full set of MPS 4s ! As with the stage 2 mrc going on next week I need something that can handle it
