Currently have 2012 RS3 8p, Daytona grey, Mrc stage2+ 451ps/768nm, 35k miles, fsh, bucket seats.

Just been offered £22k, debating if I should sell or not.

If the car is in very good order then I'd say that offer is short by £2-3K

The car is immaculate.
It was a garage that made me the offer.

Ah ok that figures as no doubt they'd put it up for around £25,995 to make £3-4K
If you're not desperate to sell then obviously private is the way to go

Not a bad price for a part exchange in my opinion, private sale 2 to 3k more seems to be the going rate.

Not A part exchange, just the garage buying the car off of me.

Sold my 8p for 25K on a trade in 2 years back now.  So 22k trade to a garage isn't bad two years on. If you can hold out for a private sale then like Matt said, you should get more privately. .  Sell if you need to, but if I hadn't had so many issues with my 8p I probably would still own it.

What are thinking of as a replacement?

You could wait for more, car sounds worth it. Might be a long wait though. I think selling in Scotland is much more difficult than "doon sooth", where the majority of cars seem to be.

Suggest you take the money and run. A bird in the hand and all that.

22k is a very good price from a dealership. I've recently had mine up for sale.

Phantom black
39k
FSH
Buckets
Stage 1 with a few mods

Initially had it at 25k, not much interest, then dropped the price to 23.5k and still not much interest. Prindville got in touch with me and offered just under 19k =/.

As I don't need to sell it I've just decided to keep hold of it and try again at the beginning of summer next year maybe. 22k I would take today though.

Mine went for 24k a year ago

Id take it ,

they a selective market plus you have not got Johnny boy racer wanting a blast it it, and I had tons of calls from Asian lads offering me

18k because they are serious buyers and not messers ! In the end a garage sold it for me plus a bit of commision because they could offer finance

Not sure if I'll buy a replacement as I work abroad a lot, no real need for a car at the moment.
