Pulley idler

Should the idler in the picture have side play. It's adjacent to the alternator. It sound like I've got a dry bearing. But can't tell if it's this one. Every 50 seconds or so the noise stops for a couple of seconds then starts again. Quite a regular interval.not loud but I can notice it.

Should be no play in that at all.
Catalunya Red ,Heated rear window,Power steering,Wireless (with FM),Seat belts,Servo assisted brakes.Pneumatic tyres. Disc brakes.
