Ha ha did go out for a drive in one and it is a really nice car tbf. Pops and bangs removed from downshift but other than that really like it.

Pretty sure that's their demo car or it's very similar. Had a drive in it yesterday.
Apparently it's had a deposit put down on it already!

had a drive in their demo too yesterday! What did you think of it?

I thought it was quick and comfortably familiar but there were a few things that jumped out at me, nothing more so than the lack of noise - the cabin is definitely quieter than the current car to the point that I didn't believe it had the sports exhaust until I saw the spec sheet after the drive. The gear change and throttle response are also different but I couldn't tell you how.
Also picked up on few little things that only a current owner would, for example they've swapped the positions of the alcantara on the steering wheel?? And the drive select button now shows the options in the main MMI and annoyingly hides your nav.
I have virtual cockpit in my Q5 and it's lovely but it's certainly not a must have for me and actually the performance of it was noticeably slower in the RS3.
The one thing I loved actually was the sunroof which obviously isn't a new feature, I just wish I'd specced it on mine
All in it's still a great car but for me there's no reason to swap. What did you think?

Edit - did it have mag ride? Suspension felt better to me.

The spec said it didn't have magnetic ride which shocked me. Like you I thought it felt much better
Agree completely, it's not worth an upgrade but what an amazing car for a new owner
Edit - also surprised a demo car didn't have mag ride...

Interesting about mag ride, perhaps better to drop it and go standard next time. In the PFL we couldn't do that of course as they lumped it together with sport exhaust the scoundrels!

How good is it in snow? Brilliant!
I went to change my other car, this one was in the showroom, 11 grand of extras and a sparkling deal on my 7 month old Leon Cupra so the deal was done.
Porsche Viper Green too.
Not a colour I would have chosen but it does look stunning when clean and the sun is out.. š
