That's what I have in mine now & no fitting kit required as they already have the seals fitted.

I use TPS & you don't need to buy the repair kits which has the already fitted seals.

So everything on the list except the repair kit is required?

Yes from what I can remember as it's been some time since I did the work.

Can’t you just buy a set of uprated aftermarket injectors? A set of 980cc direct replacements are less than £400.

Stu.

If your running the stock turbo on the stock or a remapped ecu those injectors are probably too big for the engine requirements & could cause more problems than there worth tbh.

As mine is remapped I'll took the precaution to fitted the superseded injectors just as your tuner has suggested.

Btw I don't believe the PF had the injector issues which befell the 8Ps as the one's I've now fitted are 8v.

You really need to check with your local Audi parts department for that info.

Fair point Dell, although what happens when you can have switched mapping and have a low boost map for daily driving?

Stu.

On a single injector set up with bigger injectors on say the 8P/8v platform your need even less injection duration so you may not be able to close them down quick enough on a low boost map.

I don't have enough knowledge to say how the solenoid on the hpfp which is controlled by the ECU would play it's part in this.

The stock 8v injectors are more than enough for a hybrid like TTU510s or TTE 500 when a upgrade hpfp is used.

The twin injector system on the FL means you don't have the problem with too small or too large for what the engine was designed for.

Tbh someone like Ben of TTU would be able to answer your questions in more depth than I can.
