The conclusion is essentially that it is possible. However you will need to plan your alloys and tyres carefully and even then it's very tight. This is on stock suspension.

I'm putting on 8.5x19 ET45s all round, with 255 front and 235 rear. I'm sure I can play around with fitting the 255s on the back to see how they clear. Sat on Eibach spings, so lowered around 15mm?

Well Martay, my setup is identical to what you're proposing, minus the suspension - 255 on the rear fouled when going over ramps.
If the lowering acts differently that will be interesting - good luck!

More than likely the arch as the ET45 will move the wheel outwards towards the arch & away from the strut mate.

Probably... weird though as ABT list a 20x9 et 40 for the FL
