Hi mate I bought an RS3 65 plate last year and I've felt a judder when braking and thought they were warped so I took to Audi who told me they are warped and wanted £737 for two new front discs saying it's not under warranty anymore because it's wear and tear item. I refused to pay this because it's not down to my braking it's a competent Audi has fitted what isn't performing which has failed. I rang Audi U.K. And they offered me a gesture of good will that they would go halfs with me but they want to fit brake pads Aswel at a total cost of around £1000 I did accept this and have it booked in later on in the week. I've read some forums now and most of them say it's down to deposits left on the disc off the pads. I am going to be buying the EBC redstuff brake pads but is there any way of salvaging the discs instead of paying Audi over £500 for new discs and pads? Many thanks jack. RS3 owner

How many miles are on the car for us to gauge disc wear. You could get them skimmed but this depends on the run out currently as skimming to get them true might take them down to the wear limit.

BTW why pay Audi to replace the pads if you intend to fit EBC Red's?
