To change the oil on my 8V RS3?
Bit of a random question but can one of you self oil changers tell me how long it should take to do a oil service?
From driving on the ramp to driving out the workshop, I would have thought about 40mins...
Reason I ask...
I'm sitting in the stealers at Bristol cribbs causeway doing a 'while you wait' oil service and so far has taken 90 mins and my car is still up on the ramp, it took 10mins to get the car in the workshop, it then sat there for 25 minutes and eventually got put on a ramp and still waiting!
Am I impatient?
Or do I feel the promise of excellent customer service is just a myth??
Also... They have 2 TTRS here, a white roadster (sold) and a blue coupé out side.... Took some pics will post them in the TTRS forum
how long should it take....

Update....
Now the mechanic is filming my tyre depth with a iphone and looks like a commentary as well.. Interesting
Having a large viewing window is quite enlightening
Still up on the ramp.....

Seems to me they keep your car there for ages to justify the price,,,,,,,,, if they did it in 10 mins and then asked for £70/90 you would be pissed off as I would

Off the ramp and out the workshop..1:50 mins
Not bad I suppose but was expecting quicker.
Had a video sent which was very good!
Showed me the underside in detail all in good order and my front tyres are down to 4mm 5mm rear.
8633 miles so far so not too bad
Maybe i should launch more often to try and wear the rears more :-)
