Hi Everyone,

I am currently in the process of discussing a possible group buy with Wagner on the EVO3 intercooler.

As of yet no prices have been indicated but they have requested an approximate number of people interested.

If you would be interested in the Wagner IC and being part of this group buy just leave a comment. Once I have a response from Wagner with regards to price I will let you know and then I can confirm numbers.

The Wagner intercooler is £1299 and looks a serious piece of kit
Even on a standard car there are benefits to be had.......

Very true. At my RR session they would only do one run as the chap knew that any more would be down on power due to charge temps.

Afternoon All, 

 

I have now had a response back from Wagner and unfortunately the maximum discount they can offer is 10%, only if we can get 10+ people. I have let other people interested know and we have already gone from 9 of them to 0 due to the price still being £1170 despite the group buy. 

 

If you are still interested I am more than happy to keep this going but if the number drops below 10 we are looking at a 5% discount so not saving at all really.

Rory, have they actually given data this time as to what increase in performance and IAT reduction their inter cooler does? TBH with the 8P variant they were crap and didn't have any data whereas at least Forge did and I suspect won themselves a lot more customers as a consequence.

 

Wagner's attitude was 'we can't tell you what it does but we'll still charge you a grand for it because it has to be better than OEM'.
