Hi folks

A recommendation if anything, i've had 2 typical car park dings on my driverside door panels for a while that have really been bugging me.

After putting it off for a while i decided to get them fixed via PDR (paintless dent removal) but didn't really see many recently reviewed companies in my area, alot were offering 'SMART' repair which i didn't want to go down that route with.

Anyway i took the plunge with a localish dent repair specialist, The Dent Man based in St Helens.

They had a waiting list of nearly a month when i rang in the week but the owner kindly rang me late last night to say they were going to open the unit up tomorrow (usually Mon-Fri) and to get there first thing and he'll squeeze me in.

2 hours after arriving at there unit and the RS was ready, what a transformation! 1 is completely gone and no visible sign that the ding was ever there, which was the worst one for me! And the other has a slight blemish as the paint had chipped when the ding happend but 90% improvement and touch up/flatting should sort that!

As a detailing enthusiast i could spend hours/days on the RS only to be disappointed with the appearance due to the dings in the doors, now i cant wait to start it's big summer detail in the next few days.

I've seen a few people looking to get dents/dings sorted, which is the reason i'm posting this up mainly. If you can get to the St Helens area (WA9) then these guys are well worth the visit. Polite, knowledgeable, keeps you updated as there removing the dent and definitely know there stuff.

It cost me £90 for the 2 seperate areas to be done, which was extremely competitive compared to the 'SMART' or bodyshop route.

I will try and put some pics up later when the rain stops chucking it down!
