Had it again today for about 5 seconds. 70mph on motorway traction on randomly. Even felt through the car something disengaging and reengaging which I'm assuming is the haldex clutch releasing and biting again.

No faults on car after a scan tonight. Wants to make up its mind. Times when traction doesn't flash up I get a latched fault, other times when I get it flash up I don't get anything on VCDS. Strange!

How many litres do we need for a haldex service? Should 2L be enough?

Enough for a group buy! T-800 will know better but I think it's a tiny amount - quote from ****-***** : You just need a tube of oil P/N G 052 175 A1, Tool VAG1628 (Silicone Gun, basically)

Just bought some and they said 850ml is the provided quantity. However it's more like 725ml for the service oil change.

If your doing this on a drive way getting one of these helps

Standard 38mm Closure pump dispenser to suit 5 litre containers - 30ml dosage White - DCS 9P38WH https://www.amazon.c...a_FCGPzb3N0M39T

Just pop a bit of hose onto the bottom suction pipe so it reaches the bottom of the bottle and bodge a pipe onto the dispensing end and you can pump the oil in real easy with no major mess.

New haldex pump, filter and oil (0.8L) replaced today along with new rear differential oil (1.3L) replaced so that's everything done now on the final drive.

As you know haldex and filter last replaced in March so looks lovely and clear. Diff oil looked alright as well but it ticks another off the list.
