Could anyone really tell the difference in tyres ??
I there were 3 identical cars all with different makes on them and you did not know what tyres the car had on them could you really tell one from the other..
I dont think I could ?
I would read what it said on the outside of the tyres Roy.

View GarageI had the mpss on my car they only lasted 7 months on the fronts and that was not driving that spirited
They're obviously not launch friendly

Looking very nice especially with the mirror covers. Any plans to get the power up? I put on a racechip tuning box on mine 3 weeks ago and has made the car so much fun 😆 also have you planted you foot to the floor and felt the switch that feels like a kick down? I only discovered it a couple of days ago, what a kick! Feels like it hits into an overboost!

The difference in road noise is like night and day these Eagle F1 3's are so much quieter.
Thought these looked familiar - now I see where VWR got their design from on their R360 wheel

What axle stand you using there??
Edit : found them! 265mm min height vs my 320mm Arcan ones! Might have to get some for the RS3 I think

Ah - I found them on Eliseparts site but they're £90+vat! But their min height is lower than the MM ones.

Ordered these today to fix the dodgy rear Sachs fitted by VW at the factory 
Well known fault with GTD/GTI cars, sounds like something moving around in the boot when going over speed bumps/rough road etc

Tyre damage today....
At least the TPMS on the VW works
Went to the tyre guy I use and he said it was more than likely pot hole damage on the sidewall.....
At least it had a space saver
I do like these Goodyear Eagle F1 3's ordered a tyre at 12 midday......on the wheel at 3pm always in stock (even the size I've got on the RS3)

Think I'll be changing my Pirelli's for Goodyear Eagle F1 3's next summer. As you know I have the Assy 2's on the Scirocco and like them a lot. Much better in the wet than the Pirelli's too.
Sepang Blue 8V RS3. Loud Exhaust. Loud Music. Louder Interior. Quiet Exterior.

All fitted now...
And the boot no longer sounds like it's got something rolling around in it when going over speed bumps etc etc....
The eagle eyed may spot the bottom nut and bolt haven't been done up in the photo above..... because the suspension has to be in its correct unladen position before the bolt can be torqued/angle tightened.
