Hi Jason
I am still interested in putting my car on your machine to see if my ecu is flagged??
Can we book this in please? I'm not worried about the result, atleast I'll know either way - but honestly, I knew this was always a possibility and after all, willingly took that risk when I fitted the kit!
Friday at 3pm is the best time, but can do Mon-Thur at 4 if need be.
Thanks J.
Steve.

Stating they can but actually first hand clarifying it does detect your TB are two different things.
Thanks for the information and Im sure many of us will be interested in hearing the outcome of your scan by Audi.
Mucho thanks for being willing enough to get further information.

Where are you based Monopole? I've had a tuning box on mine, if its flagged I would like to know so I can just get it tuned up with big turbo anyway, would also be good to know!
She looks the part, now she needs to go as well

Bit far for SWIM SWIM doesn't have a good enough relationship with his current one to basically admit its been tuned and ask them to check.
Is there any other way?

Kaalepson, Looks great, but I put the staggered Audi's back on and its handling so much better, one doesn't simply run rims for looks..
On another note, why ABT, warranty is cool but thats alot to pay... MRC are quality tuners as well!
How's it going Eddie ?

bottom text message confirmation>
I have been made clear of a few things:
a - the diagnostics scan is not free
b - the diagnostics scan will be automatically uploaded to Audi Germany on completion, and
c - asked several times, am I sure I want to do this because of b.
I've had the box fitted for 5900 miles (give or take a mile) without any issues, so whether I'm flagged this week or on my next service visit is besides the point hence I'm happy to go ahead with this now. Either way, I'll know and that will put my mind to rest (on light of this thread).

prop shaft problems would be on the mk 1. Have we seen any real issues/problems on the mk 2 engine, beside some fueling issues which are softwared-out, strangely enough!

I feel the biggest place the car lacks torque wise is mid range...
Be interesting to see the car at the Southern Meet.

Mono is there a big difference between the standard and MTM?

All I know is, it goes!
But I do have my own curiosity, hence this thread

But I guess that's on perpetual hold now 😜

A number of people have tried ABT on RS3 and stated no gains from stock....beware...reputable magazine also noted no difference.
Interesting chat this one. I think I am definately going to stick with my plan to go straight to ABT with the warranty when I collect in 2-3 weeks, although it is pricy 5 k€. 430 hp and 530 Nm is enough for me, and they have the 450 hp version in the pipeline.
