How much would I be looking at to get the RS3 detailed? I'm based in Manchester if that's any help?
Obsidian is the place. Now forget Cornwall and get down to obsidian on Sunday

Prices for detailing will always vary widely. Some people are motivated heavily by profit, some have ridiculously oversized units that their customers need to pay for, others are good with maths lol.
We charge £350 for a value new car prep, and £650 for the more popular new car prep on an RS3 size vehicle. Basically the same package but with very different protection products. The value use high polymer sealants and the normal one utilises coatings. Both with the same high gloss finish, but the cost to me, and the time required are very different.
Ive fixed jobs for VERY well thought of branded studios that charged dizzying amounts, and been turned down for being too expensive by people who say they can get a full wet sand for £700 in 2 days.
I know at some point money has to matter, at least a bit, but with an industry such as ours find a man who comes highly recommended who you feel comfortable speaking with, that isn't trying to dazzle you with jargon. Our industry is not "regulated" passé and the bar for entry is very low, and images are easy to find and use
EDIT: I've just re read the post, pop in for a quote lol, don't trust ANYONE else…..
