I was told its not needed, but wouldn't do any harm. I've waxed mine over Quartz coating but mainly just because I enjoy doing it. It was recommended to me to just use a good quality detailing spray when drying the car (not every time) to enhance the shine.

whole point of ceramic coating and the hydrophobic abilities of it means u don't need wax whatsoever - 8 months since it was done and it still shines and beads fantastically after a simple wash.
but if you have the time to spare to put wax on then that's up to you - but really it'll be a waste of time IMO.

Ah well I'm having a full carbon collective protection put on the car so the platinum paint then the oracle and then I normally use Zaino z-6 and z-8 to keep it glossy. Also saw a really good video of zymol sheeting. That's why ied asked .
Exactly what I had done Although, as said above you will not need to add any wax to to the coating because of its hydrophobic abilities.
See my results at http://www.audirs3oc...thread/?p=69163

You can wax it ( I don't) but if you do, you will get the surface properties of the wax,
not the coating so little point.

So you "can" yes. It will have a small positive in that a lot of "glass coatings" suffer from water spotting due to them sharing certain minerals. The wax will act as a sacrificial layer reducing the potential, much like a supporting qd/maintenance spray.
HOWEVER. Coatings have evolved massively. Their looks are on par with concours waxes and the way they move water has improved massively also. Unless you have a specific wax you have always used, just get the coating done and let the detailer guide you in maintenance products. Their will be a supporting line well worth investing in
