Took the motor in to Aberdeen Audi for oil change service recently. When i phoned up to book was quoted £300 and also Audi were doing a campaign to replace wheel housing liner so would be done at same time. Also admitted to remap...

Dropped car off first thing in the morning as i hoped to get car back by lunch time as had a work team building thing in the afternoon. Audi confirmed the cost of service. I took out a courtesy car and was given an Audi A1 1.6 tdi at a cost of £12 for insurance.

Phoned Audi about 11:30 asking on how car was getting on, was told it was out on test drive so i though by time i get across town car will be back.

So off i went, as soon as i pulled up outside Audi phone rang, it was Audi, was told ABS/ESP lights were not going off and did i mind keeping the car they gave me. Was in a rush so said ok. She also said they would replace fuel used and i never thought at the time to say USE SHELL NITRO +!!

Next day got phone call telling me car was ok, so went to pick it up, got no explanation about the fault that occurred as it wasn't on the report, it was a Saturday morning and the guy that dealt with my car was not working that day so was promised a phone call on Monday morning. But was told by the girl that the boys in the back were talking about the remapped motor!!

Monday came and no phone call (to be honest i forgot too as was packing for a wee holiday) They did phone on the Tuesday and got told that when they went to reset the oil change warning that is when the problem happened and an extended road test sorted it! Also was charged nearly £70 cheaper than quoted! (On receipt it says 40.55% discount against standard labour rate) Was not told if this was applied because of the incident.

So,  mixed review about Audi Aberdeen, no sure if they wanted a wee extra shot in ma car (i made a school boy error and never noted mileage, didn't look like too much was added!) but was cheaper than quoted!!

Seems more like a rant than a report but that is what happened and to be honest i would use them again!!

Was also told front brakes are warped but would be advisory on MOT which is due mid Sept.
